Merilyn Jean Girard

Merilyn passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Heartland Healthcare Center-Hampton with her family by her side at the age of 94 years. Merilyn was born on February 1, 1925 to the late Roland and Jessie (Weston) Klepser. Merilyn enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, spending time with her family and loved babies and her dogs.
Merilyn is survived by her three children, Lynda Pero, David (Maureen) Girard and Roberta (Greg) Davis; four grandchildren, Kelly Dalton, Jason Brissette, Melissa Frick and Rebecca Brissette; brother, Kenneth Klepser; sister-in-law, Elaine Klepser, many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Merilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Girard; brother, Ronald Klepser and sister-in-law, Kathleen Klepser.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heartland Hospice and Heartland Healthcare Center-Hampton for the special care Merilyn received.
Cremation has taken place and a private inurnment will take place at a later date at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
