Merritt Lambert

Lambert, Merritt V.Bay City, MichiganMr. Lambert passed away Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Tendercare of Midland. The son of the late Horrace and Edith Lambert was born July 20, 1913 in Caro, MI. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, a Deacon at the church and also served on the Financial Committee. Mr. Lambert retired from Prestolite Corporation where worked as a cost accountant. He was a member of the Elk Lodge B.P.O.E #88, was an avid golfer and was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.He is survived by one son; Doug (Katherine Klenke) Lambert, his grandchildren; Shannon (Rob) Szydlowski, Kelly (Jason Klenke) Lambert and Brianna (her fiancée Jason Kuchek), his great grandchildren; Rosemary and Lily Kuchek, his nieces and nephews; Allan and Marilyn Ward, Bill and Donna Lambert and Roger and Ruthellen Swan. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife; Mildred L. Lambert, one brother; Weston Lambert and one sister; Ruth DeWesse.Funeral and Committal Services will take place Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Chaplin Wayne Shidler with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial Cards for Westminster Presbyterian Church will be available at the funeral home.
