Meta R. Pincombe

Pincombe, Meta Rose Bay City, Michigan Meta Rose Pincombe passed away on May 15, 2011 at Bay Shores Nursing Center. She was born the daughter of Augusta (Wegener) and Adam Guettler in Bay City on February 1, 1917. Meta was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church of Bay City and retired in 1983 from the business office of Bay Osteopathic Hospital. She is survived by her three children, Larry (Deanna) of Middleton, WI; David (Nancy) of Riverview, MI; and Barbara (Douglas) Dewald of Linwood, MI; her six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Also surviving are a sister, Selma Pett of Bay City and a brother, Eugene Guettler of Waterford, MI. Meta was predeceased by her sisters, Verna Kerkau, Alice Wackerly and Gladys Guettler and a brother, Kenneth Guettler. Meta's family wishes to than the staff of Bay Shores for the love and care given to our Mother. You are our angels. Funeral and committal services will take place Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Ivy and Kiesel Streets. Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 12:00 o'clock noon until the time of services.
