Michael unexpectedly went home to our lord on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at home with his wife Pam, by his side at the age of 66. He was born July 25, 1956 to Angelo and Delores (Hylton) Picerno in Bridgton, New Jersey. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army and several police departments. His academic accomplishments include several multiple PHD’s and Doctorates’. Currently Mike worked for Lerta working with police recruits which he enjoyed doing very much. He also enjoyed fishing, flying, riding his Indian Motorcycle and spending time with his wife and family.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela; daughter, Tessa (Dan) Stickel, step children Donny Knoellinger and Heather Knoellinger; grandchildren, Norah, Rennie and Camilla Stickel; mother, Delores Jeanette Picerno; siblings, Angela (Brad Hall) Picerno, Christopher (Jill Lich) Picerno, and brother-in-law Monte Beaudry; nieces and nephews, Brad Langley (Melissa Cronkright), Cheri (Ed Rose), and Megan Holcomb. Several Aunts and Uncles, great nieces and nephews, Abagail, Mallory, Eli, Merissa, Taylor, Conner, and Lincoln. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Angelo Marco Picerno; grandparents, Anthony and Camilla Picerno, Dewy and Pauline Hylton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Gephart Funeral Home. Burial following at Great Lakes Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday April 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm, Monday April 17, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to wishes of the family.
