Michael J. Werner

Mr. Werner passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Henry Ford Hospital at the age of 63. The son of the late Louis and Charlene Werner was born May 9, 1959 in Bay City, Michigan. Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing and fixing things, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Mr. Werner is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debra Werner; three sons, Jeremy (Kim) Werner, Josh (Sara) Werner and Jeffrey (Laura) Werner; eight grandchildren, Brianna, Dylan, Lilly, Brady, Annabelle, Gibson, Sophia and Dalton; siblings, Mark (Lisa) Werner, Tammy (Jim) Metevia, Denise (Scott) Majeske and Brad (Jenny) Werner; sister-in-law, Sue Werner; brothers-in-law, Dan (Maria) Lynch, Charles (Roberta) Lynch and Robert Dufresne and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Craig Werner; godson, Mark Allen Werner Jr.; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Mary Lynch; brother-in-law, Gary Lynch and his sister-in-law, Linda Dufresne.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Corpus Christi Parish. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Werner will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
