Michelle Lee Green

Michelle L. "Mitch" Green, 42, of Oelwein, Iowa died on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Regions Medical Center in St. Paul, Minnesota as the result of injuries she sustained in an automobile accident near Martell, Wisconsin. Michelle Lee Conerd was born on October 20, 1972 in Monterey, California the daughter of James & Sharron (Allen) Conerd. Michelle moved with her mother to Bay City, Michigan where Sharron married Dr. Bruce DeBoe and Bruce adopted Michelle as his daughter. In 1987 Michelle moved to Oelwein, Iowa where she lived with Jim and Joyce Conerd and received her education at the Oelwein Community Schools. She married Mike Green and a daughter, Michaella, was born to the couple, they later divorced. Michelle had previously worked at Pries Enterprises in Independence and at Hancor in Oelwein. Michelle enjoyed spending her free time with her dogs Saddie Lou and also with Norman who died with her in the auto accident. Michelle is survived by her Daughter: Michaella Green of Oelwein; Sister: Shannon (Michael) Metsger of Hockessin, Delaware; Father: Dr. Bruce (Linda) DeBoe of Linwood, Michigan; Biological Father: Jim (Joyce) Conerd of Oelwein; Grandmother: Virginia Allen of Woodstock, Illinois; Half Sister: Angie (Darrin) McCann of Oelwein; 2 Half Brothers: Brad (Heidi) Conerd of Cedar Rapids & Jeremy Conerd of Oelwein and Nieces & Nephews: Gianna Grace Metsger, Michael John Metsger, Brian Bass and Emma Nelson, Noah Conerd, J.C. Nuss, Rieker Nuss & Rilynne Reeves. Michelle was preceded in death by her infant son: Morgan Green, Mother: Sharron DeBoe, Grandparents: Hugh Allen, Gerald & Harriet DeBoe, James & Ida Mae Conerd & Bob & Rita Loban. A Memorial Service for Michelle will take place Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. George Baird. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
