Our loving, wife, mother, grandmother and daughter passed away suddenly early Monday morning May 9, 2016 at her residence. Age 51 years. She was born November 4, 1964 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. Michelle was formerly employed at Michigan Sugar Company as a lab technician, enjoyed cooking and had a great love for dogs.
On August 30, 2007 she married Randall Lee "Randy" Talaga and he is left behind to cherish her memories along with two children; Dominic and Jessica Prankienas and Derek Prankienas, one granddaughter; Madilynne Joy "M.J." Prankienas, her mother; Sharon Fortin and her friend; Larry Clements, one brother; Richard Fortin, one half sister and brother-in-law; Kathy and Frank Kerbleski, one sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Sandra and Art Steward, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; Jerome E. Fortin, her infant son; Robbie and her loving dog; Buddy.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Andreas H. Teich with private inurnment in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin, MI. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive visitors on Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to the "Wishes of the Family".
