Minnie Peil

Mrs. Peil passed away Sunday evening, November 10, 2013 at Bay Shores Nursing Home at the age of 92 years. The daughter of the late John and Naomi (Sherran) Huntley was born May 14, 1921 in Bay City, MI. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church and a former member of the ladies' aid and the funeral committee. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards especially skipbo and solitaire. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Paul and Judy Peil, Carol Czymbor , Tom and Nancy Peil, her grandchildren; Kevin and Laurie Peil, Sherrie Brissette, Mark and Amy Wingeier, Mike and Stacie Wingeier, Chris and Zac Jaskiewicz, Karen and Bill Dalton, Scott and Jessica Peil, twelve great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Henry Peil who passed away November 11, 1999, her brothers and sisters; Jim, Zenia, Avery, Caroline, Ruby, Dorothy and Pearl, her son-in-law; Bob Czymbor. The family would like to extend a Thank you to the staff of Bay Shores Nursing Home Huron Wing and Mc Laren Hospice for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during her time of need. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schweppe and Rev. Paul E. Schaewe with private interment in Green Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Peil will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial Cards for St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church will be available at the funeral home.
