Mona Marie Graves

Mona Marie (Latimer) Graves of Bay City age 90 passed away August 29, 2023 at Huron Woods Nursing Home, a respite visit from home. Mona was born on November 28, 1932 in Akron Township, Tuscola County, Michigan

Left to cherish Mona’s memory is her son David Graves Sr.; grandson, David (Destiny) Graves Jr.; great-grandson, Andin Graves; granddaughter, Ashley Grauherr (Russ Walling); grandson, Nathan Clancey; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Alan Latimer and Walter (Marilyn) Latimer; sisters, Carol (Donald) Smith and Norma Bernia and very close nieces, Ruth Lukowski and Margie (Robinson) Verduin. Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Albert D Graves; parents, Theron and Audrey Latimer; sister-in-law, Marlene Latimer; mother-in-law, Beatrice C Graves; brother-in-law, Merval Graves; Sister-in-law, Darlene Graves; very close nephew, Lance Lukowski, and many other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the New Life Missionary Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 with Pastor Brian Reinhardt officiating. A private burial will be held at Demorest Cemetery. The family will be present to receive visitors at Gephart Funeral Home on Midland Street in Bay City on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
