Our loving daughter, sister and aunt passed away Thursday June 9, 2016 at Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center at the age of 54 years. The daughter of Eunice (Kloha) and the late Roy Bauer was born November 13, 1961 in Bay City. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Amelith and was employed at J C Penny Co. for over thirty years and for many years at Hallmark. Nancy enjoyed, reading, camping and most of all she enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her co-workers. She had a great love for her nieces and nephews as they were her own children.
Left behind to cherish her memories are mother; Eunice Bauer, two sisters; and one brother-in-law; Peggy Herbolsheimer and Gail and Ron Campbell, five nieces and nephews ; Scott (Judy) Herbolsheimer, Susan (David) Meier, Brian (Molly) Herbolsheimer, Courtney (Ryan) Young and Carissa (Matt) Gorris, eight great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; Roy Bauer, her brother; Curt Bauer and her brother-in-law; Philip Herbolsheimer.
The Bauer family would like to extend a special thank you to her family and friends for their many visits during Nancy's illness. She cherished all the love and support she received. Also a thank you to the staff at Saginaw Senior Care and McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice for the kind and compassionate care you gave to Nancy.
Funeral Services will take place Sunday June 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church of Amelith. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen P. Starke followed by a graveside committal service in the Church Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday June 11, 2016 to received family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Nancy will be taken to the church on Sunday to lie in state from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. These planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to St. John Lutheran Church of Amelith.
