Nancy Ruth Farrand

Nancy passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the age of 78. She was born to the late Charlie and Muriel (Kimball) Stewart on March 10, 1945 in Bradenton, Florida. She was a member of the chevy workers Supper Club. Nancy had a natural talent for making friends easily and for making people smile and laugh. She was always so helpful and would run errands for others. She loved doing general arts and crafts, especially diamond dotting. She also enjoyed shopping and would try to hit every dollar store within a 5-mile radius. She liked traveling, knitting and trying new foods. She also loved to spend too much time online watching videos of animals, especially baby animals and animal bloopers.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lynette Opal Farrand; son, Vincent Lee Farrand (Sarah); granddaughters, Zoe and Lily Farrand and her in-law, Suzanne Dole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gayne Farrand and sister, Ann Henderson.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home with interment to follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers or live plants, memorial contributions can be made to the Bay County Animal Shelter or Major Chords for Minors.
