Nancy went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side at the age of 69 years. She was born in Bay City on June 28, 1952 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Danks) Thompson. Nancy married Lloyd Lambert on October 3, 1970, in Bay City and were married for 51 years. She was a life long member of the First Pentecostal Church where she served as secretary, treasurer and Sunday school teacher for many years. Nancy also worked in home health care for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed planting flowers in her gardens and loved spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Lloyd; son, Jason Lambert; daughter, Amy (Ryan) Howay; grandchildren, Hannah, Joseph, Addisyn, Paelyn, Hudsyn and Everley; brother, Robert (Lynn) Thompson; special nephews, Bob (Christine) Thompson and Shaun Thompson; sisters-in-law, Valerie Thompson, Cherie (Mike) Densmore, Brenda Marshall, Michelle Lambert and Kori Lambert; brother-in-law, David (Angie) Lambert and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Thompson; father-in-law, Jack Lambert; mother-in-law, Norma Lambert; step-mother-in-law, Nancy Lambert and brother-in-law, Timothy Lambert.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at First Pentecostal Church. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Wood with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mrs. Lambert will be taken to the church to lie in state on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
