Nancy L. Patterson

Patterson, Nancy L. (Foss) Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Patterson passed away early Thursday morning May 5, 2011 at Brian's House. Age 81 years. She was born May 29, 1929 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Leone and Walter I. Foss Jr.. Nancy was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Nancy taught elementary school for 31 years and enjoyed teaching young children the basics. She loved needle work, reading, gardening and spending time with family and close friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. On June 24th, 1950 she married the love of her life, James M. Patterson. Together they had three children, Stephanie, Pendil, and Michele. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jason, Jamie and Lilly and her great grandchildren, Nicole, Trevor, Rebecca and Johannah. Family was the foundation of Jim and Nancy's life. A Memorial service will take place Friday May 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church 912 Center Ave. Bay City, MI 48708. Officiating will be The Rev. Fr. Michael Herman with Inurnment in Trinity Episcopal Church Columbarium. The family will be present at the church on Friday to receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. and until the time of services In lieu of flowers memorial cards may be given to Brian's House of Trinity Episcopal Church.
