Nancy Ann Schwartz

Mrs. Schwartz passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Hugh and Lotus (Johnson) McCarthy was born March 8, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan. Mrs. Schwartz retired as a RN from Bay Osteopathic Hospital and enjoyed reading, watching birds and spending time at her cottage.
Nancy is survived by her two sons, Eric Schwartz and Donald (Julie) Schwartz; two daughters, Mary (Brian) Donnelly and Marjorie (William) Joanis; five grandchildren, James Donnelly and his significant other, Brittney Andrus, Jill (Josh) Wheeler, Megan Fehrmann and her significant other, Bobby Prucha, Katrina (Andrew) Tennant and Ryan Schwartz; six great grandchildren, Carson Adamczyk, Graham Donnelly, Brienna Bess, Michaela Tennant, Alexis Fehrmann and Ella Prucha; one brother, Dennis (Holly) McCarthy and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Schwartz; five brothers, James McCarthy, Terrance McCarthy, Walter Krause, Fr. Daniel McCarthy and Gerald McCarthy and one great granddaughter, Mia Fehrmann.
At the request of Mrs. Schwartz cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
