Naomi M. Louchart

LOUCHART, Bickham, Naomi M. of Bay City, Michigan. Naomi passed away Friday January 1, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center, age 89. She was born in Bach, MI to Arthur and Lillias (Hutchins) Hofmeister, February 29, 1920. Her mother died in 1925. She then went to live with William and Rosa (her mother's sister) Grinnell of Unionville. Naomi married Henry Louchart and they had five children, three boys and two girls. Henry preceded her in death in 1991. Naomi worked for 25 years as a representative for Stanley Home Products, Avon and several travel agencies. In 1993 she married Earl Bickham and he passed away in 2006. Naomi was a former member of Fremont Avenue United Methodist Church and currently a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was also active with the Bay County Senior Citizens Lincoln Hall Dancers. Naomi is survived by her children, Kenneth (Sue) Louchart of Grayling, Dennis (Donna) Louchart of Bay City, Judy Wilkinson of Troy, Gary Louchart of Madison Heights and Paula (Dan) Louchart-Schuchardt of Bay City; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; Donna's three children and ten grandchildren; Earl's daughter, Beverly (Mike) Fricker of Sterling Heights and their two sons and three grandchildren; and her former daughters and son-in-law, Marilyn, Jerri and Skip. The funeral and committal service will take place at 11:00 a..m on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Christ United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Carol M. Blair-Bouse. Private interment will be in Demorest Cemetery, Akron. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Naomi will lie in-state at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
