Nellie A. Soulsby

Nellie passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Carriage House at the age of 97 years. Nellie was born in Akron, Michigan on September 5, 1921 to the late Joseph and Mary (Volk) Snable. She married William G. Soulsby on October 2, 1941 in Pomeroy, Ohio and he preceded her in death on February 11, 1994. Nellie was a member of Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church and a longtime volunteer at the American Cancer Society. She was also an avid Detroit Tigers and Pistons fan.
Nellie is survived by her sister-in-law, Doris "Pat" Snable of Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Burton, Marie Urbano and Elizabeth Bell; brothers, Joseph, Frank, Rudolph, Stanley and Carl Snable.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday December 27, 2018 at Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with Rite of Committal following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
