Mrs. Dixon passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Bay County Medical Facility. Age 100. The daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Samson) Osborn was born February 6, 1916. She was a member of All Saints Parish-St. James Church. Over the years Nina was an avid bowler, participating in local bowling local leagues until she was 90 years old and recognized as the oldest sanctioned bowler in Bay County. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. She also enjoyed playing in card tournaments; she enjoyed reading, spending time at her cabin and with her family. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Beverly Webb; her daughter-in-law, Nancy (Ivor) Alcorn; her grandchildren, Wendy (Russell) Augustyniak, Scott (Melody) Webb, Shelly Whitney, Matthew Webb, Kevin Richard, Claudette (Patrick) Greenhoe, Krystal (John) DePascale, Jennifer (Benjamin) Warren and Heather Dixon and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dixon, whom she married in 1934, and he passed away in 1976; her son, Patrick Dixon; her daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Claude Richard; her son-in-law, Darwin E. Webb; her grandson Patrick Dixon Jr., and her grandson-in-law, Keith Whitney. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Parish-St. James Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Stephen J. Fillion with interment following in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. to receive family and friends. Mrs. Dixon will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial contributions for All Saints Parish will be available at the funeral home.
