Nina Margaret Wieland, of Kawkawlin, Michigan, passed away Friday morning, October 14, 2011 at Brian's House, at the Age of 95. She was born in Kawkawlin, Michigan to George and Freda (Gies) Knochel on December 10, 1915. She married Erwin (Dewey) Wieland on May 14, 1939. He predeceased her on June 27, 2009. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. She is survived by her children; Rhoda (Emery) Minger, Thomas Wieland, Carlton (Mary) Wieland, Rebecca Wieland, John Wieland, Daniel Wieland, Leon (Jennifer) Wieland, Brian (Charlene) Wieland and Marvin Wieland, one daughter-in-law; Judy (Roger) Parker, eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one sister; Lois Wieland. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, David Wieland, her sisters; Ella Schlatter, Arlene Belsley, Dorothy Reineck, Viola Northrup and June Schuerch, her brothers; Robert and Daniel Knochel. The Wieland family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of Nina's caregivers for their tender care in her home, at Woodhaven and at Brian's House. Funeral Services will take place Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church. Officiating will be Clergy of the Church with interment following in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Wieland will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for Apostolic Christian World Relief or Woodhaven of Livonia will be available at the funeral home.
