Noreen LeRoux

Mrs. Noreen LeRoux, of Bay City, passed away on Friday evening, July 22, 2016, surrounded by her family at her residence, age 90. The daughter of the late Alfred and Blanche (Girard) Vaillancourt, she was born on January 6, 1926 in Bay City. Noreen graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1942. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish - St. Mary's Church. Noreen was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. More than anything she loved spending time with her family.
On August 25, 1945 Noreen married Kenneth R. LeRoux and he preceded her in death on December 11, 2000. She is survived by seven children, Thomas (Carol) LeRoux of Charlotte, NC, Dennis (Margaret) LeRoux of Sugar Land, TX, Patricia (Tom) Barbeau of Bay City, Richard (Cynthia) LeRoux of Bay City, Brian (Ruthie) LeRoux of Carrollton Twp., MI, David (Connie) LeRoux of Bay City and Amy VonGrey and her husband Mark Jacobs of Bay City; a very special granddaughter, Melissa LeRoux; 14 grandchildren, Timothy, David, Anna, Stephanie, Melissa, Shawn, Scott, Sarah, Steven, Craig, Courtney, Tricia, Travis and Tia; 13 great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Noreen was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jeri LeRoux; a daughter-in-law, Linda LeRoux; two granddaughters, Danielle LeRoux and Brooke LeRoux; and three sisters, Lorraine Schweinsberg, Irene Brady and Audrey Blackhurst.
The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Parish - St. Mary's Church. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Patrick M. Jankowiak with the Rite of Committal following at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Vigil for the Deceased beginning at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. LeRoux will lie instate at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
