Ludwig, Patrice A. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Ludwig passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 70 years. The daughter of the late Clark and Regina (Hages) Brady was born October 28, 1946 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a member of Bay Valley Christian Church and retired from the Bay City Social Security Office. Mrs. Ludwig was a very social person, she was a mentor and counselor for AA for 25 years, had an amazing memory and loved to shop, read novels and send notes and cards to family and friends. She also enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her T.L. Handy class of 1964. Mrs. Ludwig is survived by her husband, Frederic "Rick" Ludwig whom she married on April 24, 1971 and they just celebrated their 46 year anniversary; one son, Matthew Brady Ludwig and his special friend, Jennifer Draves; one granddaughter, Dalayne Maree Ludwig and her mother, Tammy Mularz; one sister, Kathleen (Thomas) O'Toole; one brother, Michael Brady; her nieces and nephews, Colleen (Paul) Woods, Kelli (John) Whaley, Molly (Brad) Meyer, Jana (Mike) Sheperd, David (Becky) Ludwig and Ian (Robin) Basset; one sister-in-law, Carol (Ken) Hobbs and many special great nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Patric Ludwig, sister-in-law, Sara Basset, and one nephew, Mark Ludwig. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Bay Valley Christian Church. Officiating will be Rev. George Hernandez. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday at the church from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
