Patricia Joyce Evans

Mrs. Evans passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Matthew and Marion (Peterson) Jones was born July 14, 1928 in Pontiac, Michigan. Mrs. Evans volunteered for the Bloomdale Fire Department, McLaren Bay Region Gift Shop and many other places. She enjoyed painting, Singing in the church choir and taking care of her family.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her three children, Kimber (Frank) Colby, Pamela (John Engel) Evans and Debra (Dennis) Jones; four grandchildren, Rebekah and Mallory Colby, Lauren Jones and Brian (Isabella) Jones; one sister, Eleanor June Jones and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leonard D. Evans, whom she married in 1948 and her brother, Matthew B. Jones Jr.

At the request of Mrs. Evans cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to McLaren Helen B. Nichols Free Clinic or the Bay County Animal Shelter.
