Patricia K. Fritz(Martin)

Fritz, Patricia K. (Martin) Bay City, Michigan Patti passed away, Friday, August 1, 2014 after a courageous four year battle with cancer, age 54 years. Patti was born October 24, 1959 in Bay City. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, enjoyed music, going to concerts, cooking, riding her bike, traveling and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and entertaining family and friends. Patti is survived by one son, Brian (Jenny) Fritz of Saginaw; one daughter, Teresa (Allen) Switala of Bay City; three grandchildren, Drew, April and Dylan Switala; one sister, Robin (Steve) Elston of Celina, Ohio; her mother, Lucille Martin of Bay City; four nieces, Elise, Nicole, Madeline and Michelle Elston; one nephew, Isaac Elston; her loyal dog, Max and long term friend, William J. Fritz. Patti was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Fritz; her father, Robert R. Martin and one brother, William Martin. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen P. Starke with Committal following in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Patti will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Save Brian's House or St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
