Patricia M. Quantz

Patricia passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison at the age of 84. The daughter of the late Otto and Lucille (Tomczak) Steve was born June 14, 1940 in Bay City, Michigan. Patricia was an avid reader and loved playing cards, bingo, shopping and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Patricia is survived by her son, Bob Quantz Jr.; daughter, Kim (Don) Kumrits; grandchildren, Grant Kumrits, Brett Quantz, Ashley Kumrits, Troy (Marra) Quantz, Justin Quantz and Lisa (Joey) Smith; great grandchildren, Nicholas Suzdak, Kallen Quantz, Landon Quantz, Quinn Quantz, Gabby Smith and Kiera Quantz; two sisters, Loretta Schindler and Lorraine (Bill) Trudell and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Quartz Sr.; daughter, baby Rachel; sisters, Lucille Newcombe, Violet Everson, Betty Keyser and Connie Steve and one brother, Otto Steve Jr.

At the request of Patricia, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the Fairfield Manor Club House, 1016 Parkside Boulevard, Bay City, MI 48706. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
