Patricia L. Strauss

Patricia passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical center. Age 69 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Coppinger) Downey was born October 30, 1940 in Bay City, Michigan. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Patricia is survived by three sons, Donald (Cathy) Strauss, Jay (Beth) Strauss and Mike (Pam) Strauss; one daughter, June Lee (Bryan) DuCap; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, June Downey/Repke; one special niece, Patty (Kip) Wackerle, one special nephew, Mike (Pat) Repke and one sister-in-law, Gloria Downey. In addition to her parents Patricia was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Strauss; two brothers, Donald and William Downey; one niece, Donna Downey and one grandson, Joshua DuCap. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be William Waibel of the Apostolic Christian Church with private interment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. In Lieu of flowers memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
