Patrick Joseph Pobalis

POBALIS, Patrick Joseph (Modoc, SC) Bay City, Michigan. Patrick Joseph Pobalis passed away suddenly January 25, 2010 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center in Thomson, GA, age 47 years. He was born January 28, 1962 in Bay City, Michigan. Pat was a carpenter, enjoyed restoring old cars, auto racing and especially spending time in the south enjoying the warm weather. He is survived by his loving companion of twenty six years Lynn Rundell Pobalis; one daughter Rebecca Pobalis of Standish; five grandchildren; his mother and step father, Dorothy and Thomas Rivard of Bay City; father and step mother, Joseph and Ann (Yant) Pobalis of Martinez, GA; his mother-in-law, Jean Rundell of Sebewaing; his brothers and sisters: Michelle Parkhurst, Laurel (Mario) Gonzales, Renee (Shawn) Kane, Tashia (Eric) Rivard - Underwood, Joey (Lauren) Pobalis, Bill (Lori) Yant, Greg (Jennifer) Yant and his brother-in-law, Larry (Margaret) Rundell; his special cat, Gidget; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Kevin Yant; his father-in-law, Donald Rundell and one aunt, Bonnie Davidson. Funeral Services will take place Monday, February 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Jerry Hegenauer, Pastoral Associate of Visitation Catholic Church with the committal services following in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for Brian's House or the Humane Society of Bay County will be available at the funeral home.
