Sutton, Patti L. Kawkawlin, Michigan Mrs. Sutton passed away peacefully, Saturday morning August 10, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 68 years. She was born February 2, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. Patti was a member of Kawkawlin Community Church and retired from Consumers Energy Co. as a Human Resource Specialist. She was a Hospice Volunteer had a great passion to care for others and enjoyed working with her flowers and gardening. She is survived by her husband Terrance E. "Terry" Sutton, two step sons; Wayne Sutton and Evan and Lisa Sutton, two step grandchildren; Carter and Blake Sutton, one brother; Daniel and Judy Maatta of Wixom, two brothers-in-law; Kenneth and Ann Sutton of Marshall and William and Debbie Sutton of Clarkston and her nieces and nephews; Angela, Mark, Terry, Sherry,David, Frances, Steve and Shana, her special friend; Nancy Dunn. Patti was preceded in death by her father and mother; Clifford E. and Adelaide I. (Kirk) Maatta, two brothers; Mike and Tommy Maatta and her father-in-law and mother-in-law; Earl and Gena Sutton Funeral Services will take place Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 12:00 O'clock Noon at Kawkawlin Community Church. Officiating will be Pastor David L. Dunn with interment following in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. There will be no visitation at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to Kawkawlin Community Church Building Fund or the Arthritis Foundation.
