Mr. Paul A. Andrzejewski, of Bay City, was brought into this life on September 19, 1954, a strong man with a gentle soul, lost his brave battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the age of 59 years and is now in the presence of the Lord. The war is now over. Born and raised in Bay City and AuGres, MI, Paul was the youngest of three sons of the late George Theodore & Caroline Marie (Schwartz) Andrzejewski. Retired in 2006, he had a successful career in advertising, marketing, promotions and sales management. Paul was a graduate of T.L. Handy High School, Delta College and Ferris State University. Mr. Andrzejewski has taken pleasure and has been recognized in many community activities such as The Midland Street Business Development Association, the Bay Area Darters Association, the Fourth of July Fireworks Festival, the Bay City River Roar, the Saginaw Bay Offshore Powerboat Association / APBA Offshore Powerboat & Jet-Ski Racing Circuit, the Bay City Pig Gig Family Festival, the American Athletic Amateur Boxing Association, WBA and USA Boxing, Camp Fish Tales, the Bay County Society for Crippled Children and Adults, and the American Cancer Society 'Bid For Bachelors' Campaign. Paul has also systematized concerts, fundraisers and promotions for these events as well as local charities as a volunteer. "Too Tall" Paul enjoyed life to its whole hearted fullest, always pushing the limits, but not in the least too far, all in the chance of living the American Dream. His favorite activities and hobbies included being with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and offshore power boating and snowmobiling. A little know passion in his Paul's life was playing guitar, writing music, and marketing, performing and working with other musicians. As a business agent, Paul also enjoyed marketing entertainment professionals with promoters throughout the United States, Canada and England. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Bay Valley Corvettes, Ducks Unlimited, and the NRA and was a 'Michigan Blood' donor. For nearly all of his years, Mr. Andrzejewski enjoyed life each and every day, residing on the beach on Saginaw Bay and Pt. Lookout. Paul's pride and joy was his corvette. Besides his parents, Paul was also preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Lynn Andrzejewski; and a brother, James Andrzejewski. He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Roger & Mary Andrzejewski of Grand Rapids; an aunt, Adeline Franceschina of Bay City; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Jeff) Diller and their children, Brady & Chloe of Grand Rapids, Brad (Jenn) Andrzejewski and their children, Riane, Delaney & Blaine of Grand Rapids, and Tiffany Marie Andrzejewski of Bay City; and several cousins and friends. It was Mr. Andrzejewski's desire for cremation to take place. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey D. Weenink. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service.
