Paul W. Scholz Jr.

Paul passed away after a courageous battle with illness early Saturday morning, March 19, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 47 years. He was born November 3, 1963 in Bay City. Paul was employed by A-1 Truck Parts and Vice Commander of the Sons of the American Legion. Paul had a passion for his daughters, grilling and cooking. He is survived by his wife the former Diane M. Boggs whom he married June 22, 1991. Also surviving are two daughters: Taylor and Morgan Scholz, his mother: Judith Scholz, two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Debra and Donald O'Brien and Lisa and Patrick Taylor, his mother-in-law: Donna Boggs, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Dave and Luann Boggs, Dennis and Leslie Boggs, Deb Bowen and Tom Carson, his nieces and nephews: Michael Gauthier, Connor O'Brien, Ashley and Kelsey Bowen, Jeremy Boggs, David, Eric and Justin Boggs and Brockton Taylor, his special great nephew: Deavon Sherrod, many special friends and his pet dog Junior. He was preceded in death by his father: Paul W. Scholz Sr. on November 11, 2004, his father-in-law: Reed Boggs, his grandparents: Earlin and Marion Fortin. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial Cards for Wishes of the Family will be available at the funeral home.
