Paul A. VanDorn

Paul passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Age 56 years. He was born June 23, 1960 in Tacoma, Washington. Paul was employed at TMS in Pinconning, Michigan as a Setup Operator. Paul was a member of the Crump Fox Club. He had a great love for the outdoors to include, fishing hunting and golfing. Paul was a very caring person, hardworking and a very skilled welder and machinist. Left to cherish Paul's memories are his wife the former, Dalyn S. Stanley whom he married July 23, 2004; two sons, Ryan (Monique) VanDorn and Michael (Devonia) VanDorn; his grandchildren, Taylor, Johnathan, Cameron, Evan, Jaydan and Ally; his mother, Elisabeth W. VanDorn, his sister, Mary Ann (Brian) VanDorn; Paul had a very special relationship with his seven brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; his aunts and uncles; his special nieces and nephews, Scott, Robert, Tiffany, Megan and Kara; Paul will be greatly missed by many friends and hunting partners too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude "Buck" VanDorn; his sister, Leona Patricia "Patty" and his nephew, Jacob. At the request of Paul cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mary Ann Helie. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family.
