Peggy Lynn Horne Lasecki

Peggy Lynn Horne Lasecki, of Essexville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at her residence, age 56. The daughter of the late William Thomas & Lois Ann (Poole) Horne, she was born August 16, 1955 in Bay City. Peggy worked for many years at Huron Woods Nursing Home and also in childcare. She enjoyed playing bingo and most recently the Wii and she loved to travel, especially to the Caseville Cheeseburger Festival. Peggy is survived by four brothers and six sisters-in-law, William (Tracy) Horne of Kawkawlin, David Horne of Kawkawlin, George (Kim) Horne of Virginia and Philip (Cherie) Horne of Bay City, Susan Horne, Michaela Tate and Katrina Horne; aunts and uncles, Gene (Lucy) Horne of Texas, Cindy and Barbara Poole and Richard Poole; two dear friends, Ed Gromaski and Judy Adams; nieces and nephews, Angela, Andy, Nicole, Kristy, Korrie, Chance, Alyssa, Jacob, Ryan, James, Michael, Amelya, Amanda, Christopher, Mallory, Joey, Heather, Hannah and Hollie; and great-nieces and nephews, Austin, Colten, Kaydence, Kylie, Landon and Thomas. Besides her parents, Peggy was also preceded in death by her grandparents, George & Helen Horne, Percy & Erma Poole and Ellen Poole; and a nephew, Kyle Horne. Peggy's family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Charles Schisler, Dr. Manawar and Dr. Sweterlitsch for their special care. It was Peggy's wish that cremation take place. Peggy's family will be present to greet friends at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
