Preston M. Stevens

Preston passed away at Sheffield Bay on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the age of 76. The son of the late Walter and Kathleen (Jereau) Stevens was born July 14, 1947 in Petoskey, Michigan. Preston was retired from General Motors and was always willing to help anyone out in their time of need. He enjoyed riding is Harley and coaching little league, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Preston is survived by his two sons, Jerry (Kim) Stevens and Kirt (Kristi) Stevens; three grandchildren, Jake Stevens, Kara Stevens and Kollin Kridler; great grandson, Miles Ziehmer and his mother-in-law, Mary Jane Elliott. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Stevens and his grandson, J.J. Stevens.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
