Calcutt, Ralph W. "Sonny" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Calcutt passed away suddenly Monday afternoon January 24, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 84 years. He was born June 6, 1926 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, retired from the City of Bay City Water Department as an assistant foreman and was the former Assistant Chief for the Bay City Police Reserve Dept. Sonny is survived by his wife of sixty two years the former Geraldine L. Sniecinski whom he married on September 19, 1948. Also surviving are his children; Marilyn and George VanWarmer of Ocala, FL, Ronald Caluctt, of California, Chuck and Linda Calcutt of Kawkawlin, Paul (Rascal) and Debbie Calcutt of Lake View, MI and James and Kim Calcutt of Bay City, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and the family is expecting the seventh great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; Frieda (Leinberger) and Ralph Calcutt , his stepfather; Paul Jankens, one sister; Marilyn Calcutt and one brother; John (Jack) Calcutt Funeral and Committal services will take place Friday, January 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Rev. Leslie D. Tyvela and Sonny's son Chuck Calcutt with Private Entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum in Saginaw, MI Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for Immanuel Lutheran Church Food Pantry will be available at the funeral home.
