Randall "Berni" J. Bernard

Berni passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper. Age 63 years. The son of the late Richard and Jean (Hurtt) Bernard was born September 22, 1957 in Bay City, Michigan. Berni retired from Bay United Motors after 40 years and served in the US Army, he enjoyed fishing, camping, the 4Th of July, playing ball with family and the neighbor kids and coaching little league, but most of all building a life and family with his high school sweetheart, PeeWee.
Berni is survived by his wife, Kathy "PeeWee" Bernard whom he married on December 11, 1976; two children, Trish Jamison (Bernard) and Randy (Rachel) Bernard; seven grandchildren, Caylin, Austyn, Anthony, Keegan, Brooks, DaMarion and Chase; four great grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Raylin and Sutton; two sisters, Jeanene Bernard and Richelle (Craig) Conklin; one brother, Rick (Mandy) Bernard and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
At the request of Mr. Bernard cremation has taken place and there will be no services at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Gift of Life or the wishes of the family.
