Raphael H. Enser

Mr. Raphael H. 'Ray' Enser, of Bay City, Michigan, passed away Sunday afternoon, February 16, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region, age 74. The son of the late Otto & Martha (Block) Enser, he was born on June 8, 1939 in Bay City. Ray was retired from Tower Industries and along with his wife Mary, they were the former owners of Enser's Bar & Grill in Munger. He enjoyed golfing and hunting and was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aries #1010 in Bay City. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. (Julian) Enser on April 6, 2010. Ray is survived by five children, Pam (Danny) Stelmach, Terry (Della) Rowe, Melody Sloboda, Annette Enser and Jeff (Debbie) Nakoneczny; his grandchildren, Emily, Cristina, Carrie, Cheryl, Danny Jr., Kurt, Terry Jr., Jamie, Scott, Tim, and Eddie Jr.; several great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Don Dammer; and many nieces & nephews. Ray was also preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Dammer; and his brother, Robert (Barb) Enser. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mr. James Macomber. Private interment will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
