Raymond J. Kloha

Kloha, Raymond J. Bay City, Michigan Raymond passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. Age 83 years. The son of the late Clarence and Isabelle Kloha was born May 14, 1934 in Bay City, MI. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish-St. Vincent de Paul Church. Raymond retired as a mason from Boettcher Masonry and was a member of the Bricklayers Local #2. He had a great love for his family, enjoyed woodworking, traveling and going to the casino. Raymond proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. Left to cherish his memories are his wife the former Carol M. Sampson whom he married May 21, 1960; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Scott Kloha, Dennis and Toni Kloha and Brian Kloha; his grandchildren, Scott (Nichole) Kloha, Anne Kloha, Katie (Jonathan) Ervin, Adam Kloha, Kayla Kloha, Brandon Kloha, Connor Kloha, and Madison Kloha; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Addison, Hunter, Ethan, and Emily; two sisters, Eleanor (Don) Rajewski and Pat Kloha; one sister-in-law, Loraine Kloha; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Kathy Kloha; three brothers, Bob, Don and Harold "Al" Kloha; one sister, Lealla "Sis" Kloha; two sisters-in-law, Helen Kloha and Leona Kloha. The Funeral Liturgy will take place Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Parish-St. Vincent de Paul Church. 2956 E. North Union Rd. Bay City, MI 48706. The celebrant will be Rev. John S. sarge with the Rite of Committal Following in Calvary Mausoleum followed by military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. to receive family and friends. Raymond will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
