Raymond Joseph Kolka II, the Lord called him home on March 1, 2020. He was born August 4, 1973 in Bay City, Michigan and resided in Seminole, Florida. He served in the United States Army with the 27th Combat Engineer Airborne Paratrooper. He was awarded the Army commendation medal for his meritorious service in the Invasion of Haiti. He was awarded the Army Achievement medal for his meritorious service in Haiti, he was awarded 2 good conduct medals and awarded combat armed forces expeditionary medal.
He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Debbie Kolka; brother, Tim Kolka, fiance, Lisa Ferlita; children, Alyssa (Mike) Aguirre, Cierra Kolka; step-daughter, Madison Brown; granddaughter, Anelah Kolka; niece, Kristin Kolka; many aunts, uncles and cousins; many special friends, Brian DeWyse, Dennis Schaefer, Dave Scott and Justin Rowell.
Funeral Services will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will Rev. Fr. George J. Serour. A Eulogy will take place at 6:00 p.m. and that will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. by his friend Brian DeWyse. Military Honors will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. by the U.S. Army and Bay County Veterans Council. Private burial will take place in Elm Lawn Cemetery. The Family will be present at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. to receive family and friends.
