Raymond passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 15, 2024. He was born to the late Andrew and Emily (Weiss) Wagner on November, 21, 1930 in Bay City, Michigan. Raymond proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors, traveling to Florida, and spending time with his family.
Raymond is survived by his sisters, Helen Wagner and Alice (Wallace “Wally”) Abraham; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Wagner; nephews, Brian Wagner, Mark (Angie) Abraham, and Michael Abraham; great nephew, Andrew (Karli) Abraham; great niece, Andrea Abraham. In addition to his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his siblings, Elmer Wagner, Florence Wagner, Floyd Wagner and Allen Wagner.
At the request of Raymond, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis W. Matyas with inurnment following at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
