Rev. Clark B. Schenk

Mr. Schenk passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020. Age 71 years. The son of the late Arnold and Freda (Mills) Schenk was born April 19, 1949 in Cass City, Michigan. Mr. Schenk served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired as the pastor from Christ Centered Church in Gladwin after 17 years of ministry. Rev. Clark enjoyed playing his guitar, singing and writing music.
Mr. Schenk is survived by his wife, Rev. Rene (Uhelski) Schenk whom he married on April 6, 1972; son, Clark (Sheila) Schenk Jr.; six grandchildren, Dylan Baum, Jazalyn (Paul) Sanders, BrenAnn (Austin) Varner, Ashtin (Sean) Zieroff, Seth Schenk and Tori Hudson; five great grandchildren, Giavonnah, Monica, Tucker, Mia and Jocelyn; brothers and sisters, Karen (William) Mathews, Peggy (Robert) Shumate, Nora Harvey, Robert (Mary) Schenk, Richard (Patricia) Schenk and Thomas (Valerie) Schenk and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Shawnette (Schenk) Weir and his sister, Carol Sue Schenk.
At the request of Mr. Schenk cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Abundant Life Church in Standish.
