Richard W. Chambers

Richard Chambers, 78 passed away Wednesday, September 14th, 2021.  Passed away with family at his side.  Richard was born February 22,, 1943, in Bay City, MI to Willard and Jane Chambers.
He was loved by the Bay City community and proud owner of Dick Chambers Auto Body for 38 years, and retired from Sears Automotive Center.
Richard is survived by his beautiful wife of 40 years Josephine. He was a loving father of Connie (Kipp) Schrebe, Jennifer (John) Klempnow and his son Vincent Foster, adopted son, Fred Wicks.  Caring brother of Suzanne Arnold (Donald), Barb Giddings-Chambers, Cathy (Darren) Barber.  He also had two other amazing brother in-laws, Jerry and Butch (Deb) Neering. He was grandfather to five joyful grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  He loved the time spent with family and will be greatly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his son Richard Chambers II and sister Marybeth Decatur.
A time of visitation will take place on Friday, October 15th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, 201 W. Midland St, Bay City, MI 48706, followed by a graveside prayer at Calvary Cemetery, 2977 Old Kawkawlin, Rd, Kawkawlin, MI 48631. Memorial Contribution for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
