Richard John Gradowski "Dick" South Branch, Michigan (Formerly of Bay City) Mr. Gradowski passed away early Sunday morning December 27, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. Age 71 years. The son of the late John and Eleanor (Pietryga) Gradowski was born August 12, 1944 in Bay City where he resided most of his life. Dick retired from General Motors Co. as a Pipe Fitter after many years of service, he was a member of U.A.W. Local 362 and most of all he loved spending time outdoors. Left behind to cherish his memories are; one daughter; Mary Reinhardt, one son and one daughter-in-law; John and Jamie Gradowski, three stepsons; Todd Daeschlein, Jesse and Stacy Daeschlein, Glenn and Ashley Daeschlein, six grandchildren; Allen and Katie Reinhardt, Shelby McBride, Emily Gradowski, Contessa and Marcus Daeschlein , two brothers; Ronald and Paul Gradowski, three step brothers; Michael (Mary Jo) Jamrog, Thomas (Karen) Jamrog and James ( Paulette ) Jamrog, two brothers-in-law; LeRoy Tacey and Michael Gillman, step sister-in-law; Kathleen Jamrog, his mother-in-law; Gloria Zielinski, two sisters-in-law; Carolyn Hessler and Crystal (Scott) Smith, , nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife B. Anne Gradowski on February 11, 2013, his father; John, his mother; Eleanor and his step father; John Jamrog, three sisters; JoAnne Tacey, Betty Gillman, and Geraldine Bedell, one brother; Robert Jamrog, his father-in-law; Edward Zielinski and two brothers-in-law; Jerry Hessler and Stephen Zielinski. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dick's special friends Beverly and Rick Zorn. Also Heartland Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they extended to Dick and his family during the time they cared for him. Funeral Services will take place Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles F. Campbell with the Committal Service following at 2:30 p.m. in Curtis Township Cemetery in Alcona County. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for the "Wishes of the Family" will be available at the funeral home.
