Richard Allen Nagel

Richard passed away on Monday, February 3, 2023 in Bay City, Michigan at the age of 77. The son of the late Samuel and Garnetta (Holiday) Nagel was born March 14, 1947 in Bay City, Michigan. Richard was retired from Saginaw Grey Iron Foundry and enjoyed listening to Pink Floyd, watching the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and old western movies. But most of all he enjoyed visiting with his brothers-in-law on Sunday Mornings. 

Richard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kay Helen (Sauer) Nagel; one son, Jason Nagel; one daughter, Samantha Nagel; one brother, Fred Nagel; two sisters, Sandra Hennings and Susan Mahmoudi and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Walker.

At the request of Mr. Nagel, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Zion Lutheran Church.
