Rahn, Richard Harry "Dick" Turner, Michigan Mr. Rahn passed away March 18, 2012 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital in Saginaw. Age 76 years. The son of the late Albert and Nellie (Eichinger) Rahn was born June 27, 1935 in Bay City, MI. He was a member of Twining Baptist Church. Mr. Rahn was formerly employed as a construction worker at Engelhardt Construction Co. and was formerly employed by Arenac County Probate Court. He was a member of the Alpena Armory. Mr. Rahn enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a foster parent, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of fifty three years the former; Willane Sue Schiele whom he married August 2, 1958 in St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church. Also surviving are his children; Carol (Garry) Spahr of Tallahassee, FL., Kellie (Randy) Swartz of Bay City, Shellie (Duwayne) Mason of Tallahassee, FL. and Todd (Wendy) Rahn of Turner, MI. his grandchildren; Heather Spahr, Alisha (Brian) Duncan, Brett Swartz, Ashley Swartz, Richard Rodak, Rebecca Rodak, Robin (Chad) Fritz, Kalub Rahn, Miles Rahn and Emily Rahn, his great grandchildren, Cecil Woodard, Christian Woodard, Dylan Duncan, Ryan Rodak and Rose Lynn Rodak, three sisters and two brothers-in-law; Noreen and Walt Schuchardt, Violet Kroeing, Nancy and Mark Anderson and one brother and five sisters-in-law; Howard and Doris Rahn, Rosemarie, Rose Marie, Verna and Joann Rahn. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister-in-law; Harold, Herman and Gloria, Gerald, Albert Jr. and Calvin Rahn and one sister and brother-in-law; Sophia and Ed Hawkins. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the staff of the 6th floor I.C.U at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital and Dr. Jafari for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during his time of need. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Jeremy W. Lee with private burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin, MI. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family for a memorial that will be established later in Richard's memory at a later time.
