Richard R. Reinke

Richard Reinke died Friday, September 8, 2017 at the age of 86. He was born on August 14, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Erwin and Gertrude Reinke. In 1951 he joined the United States Army and served in the Korean War. After being honorably discharged from the Army he worked the majority of his career as an Industrial Engineer. On June 20, 1952 he married the former Norma Bouchard in Tawas City, Michigan. Norma preceded him in death in 2007. Richard had many interest and talents including drawing, painting, woodworking, bowling, CB radios, golf, hunting, fishing and playing cards. Richard is survived by his four daughters, Susan (John) Noble of Kronenwetter, WI, Sandra (Scott) Soronen of West Bloomfield, MI, Sharon (Stephen) Metaxas of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Brenda (Dawson) Young of Alpine, TX; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Richard was also blessed with love from Monalee McCrea who preceded him in death and her surviving daughter Janie Farthing, and Marge Martin. Richard was also preceded in death by his brother, Fred. Per Richard's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Officiating will be Rev.
