Richard passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side at the age of 69 years. Richard was born in Bay City on March 31, 1948 to the late Joseph and Joan (Malenfant) St. Laurent. Rick was married to his beloved wife Lois of nearly fifty years and lived in Bay City all of his life. Rick was an amazing husband and lived his life for his daughters and grandbabies. He was an avid card player at regular family affairs and loved to play Mississippi Stud at the casino. He loved to take his grandbabies camping and was always telling goofy jokes. He worked presently for R.A. Townsend and also worked in sales for Morley Brothers and Duro Supply. Rick will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
Surviving is his wife, Lois; daughters, Heather (Eric) Wilber and Janelle St. Laurent; grandbabies, Alexandria and Marissa Wilber; brothers, Michael (Pam), Kevin (Audrey) and Edward (Jamie) St. Laurent; sisters, Patricia (Phillip) Matthews, Joan (Stan) Rusiecki and Ann (David) Talaga; brothers-in-law, Tom (Cheryl), Dave (Ardis), Leslie (Susan) and Terry Luptowski; sisters-in-law, Annette (Clay) Porter and Celeste Culver. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and Bobby St. Laurent.
A prayer service will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Rick's brother-in-law, Dave Talaga. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Per Rick's wishes cremation will take place following the visitation.
