Richard G. Tober

Mr. Tober passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Bayfield Assisted Living. Age 76 years. The son of the late Rudolph and Virginia (Kozubal) Tober was born January 9, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Tober worked for Schafer's Bakery for 27 years and later went to work for Graff Chevrolet. Richard was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and their choir, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers.

Mr. Tober is survived by his wife the former Vi J. Threehouse whom he married on February 14, 2003; three children, Kevin (Kathy) Tober, Kelli (Steve) Asel and Dawn (Jim) Rollin; four step children, Chad Riley and his fiancee, Tasha Dyer, Jimmy (Betsy) Riley, Jodi Oliver and her fiancee, Tom Brooks and Amy (David) Scott; 20 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one sister, Marsha Tober. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his niece and Goddaughter, Jamie Ballard.

At the request of Mr. Tober cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Hall. Friends may call at Faith Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
