Rita M. Anderson

Mrs. Anderson passed away Monday evening, January 13, 2014 at Lake Wales Medical Center in Lake Whales, FL at the age of Age 82 years. The daughter of the late Valentine and Mary ( Musielak) Switala was born February 8, 1931 in Bay City, MI. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and taking long walks with her husband Lloyd. She is survived by her husband Lloyd C. Anderson whom she married on October 14, 1950 in St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Also surviving are her children; Tom Anderson, Susan Anderson, Cheryl (Scott) Wilhelm and Sandra (Mark) Gwizdala, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her sisters and brother; Rose (George) Kubczak, Geri (Art) Bukowski, Joni (Bob) Groch and Valentine (Jennine) Switala Funeral Services will take place Friday, January 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm with the Rite of Committal following in St. Patrick's Mausoleum. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive family and friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
