Rita J. Boomer

Boomer, Rita J. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Boomer passed away peacefully Monday, November 25, 2013 at her residence with her loving family at her side at the age of 90 years. She was born March 9, 1923 in Ohio. Rita enjoyed crocheting and will be remembered by her for the wonderful meals she enjoyed cooking for them. She is survived by nine children; Raymond Boomer, James Boomer, Rita Maellaro, Jerry (Deby) Boomer, Carol Lloyd, Ronald Boomer, Donald Boomer, Danny Boomer and Bobbie Boomer, ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren, one sister; Marie Rousse, one brother; Marvin Luce and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Boomer in 1977, one son; David Boomer, her parents; Carl G. and Mary Alice (Nash) Luce, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. David L. Dunn with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Memorial cards for the donor's favorite charity will be available at the funeral home. Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.
