Robert "Bob" L. Behrmann

Behrmann, Robert L. "Bob" Bay City, Michigan Mr. Behrmann passed away early Thursday morning, September 2, 2010 at his residence. Age 79 years. The son of the late Edwin and Lucy (Goss) Behrmann was born April 1, 1931 in Bay City. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, the Choir, Men's Club, Board of Education and volunteered for various things at the church. He retired as a Master Mason and was a member of the Bricklayers Local. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, was an avid swimmer and swam at the Y.W.C.A and Delta College, won eight medals in the Senior Olympics. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife the former Lynn E. Reynolds whom he married March 20, 1993. Also surviving are his children: Renee (Greg) Dean of Charlotte, MI, Sharon (Pat) Parent of Bay City, Linda (David) Britton of Saginaw, Barb (Bob) Williams of Ft. Worth, TX, Kathy Kinde of Essexville and Chris (Coryn) Lewicki of Auburn, fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters; Edwin (Jean) Behrmann, Bill (Mary Jo) Behrmann, Oscar (Pat) Behrmann, Jim Behrmann, Nancy (Marvin) Appold, Sally Nagel and Ruth Ann Lane, his sisters-in-law: Pam and Joan Behrmann, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his first wife; Marlene Behrmann, two brothers; Gerald and Carl Behrmann. At the request of Mr. Behrmann cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schweppe followed by Military Honor's conducted by the Bay County Veteran's Council. Private inurnment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery.
