Robert J. Clements

Clements, Robert J.Bay City, Michigan Passed away Friday, April 2, 2010 following a brief illness. Bob was born July 31, 1930 to Edward and Margaret (Cavanaugh) Clements in Detroit, MI. He joined the U.S. Marines in 1951 after which he became a union electrician, a member of IBEW Local 692. On November 7, 1953 he married the former Elizabeth "Betty" Ellery and she survives his passing along with their six children and spouses: Mark and Teri Clements, their children, Megan and Michael; Cindi and Jim Skop of Boyne City; Cathy and Ron Jankoska, their children, Ryan, Angela (Justin) Jamrog, and Rachel; Dave and Sally Clements, their children, Rob and Jason; Tom and Tami Clements of Ann Arbor, their children, Adam and MacKenzie; Kevin and Michele Clements and Kevin's children James (Babsi), Dan (Heather), Matthew and Rebekah. Five Great-Grandchildren: Leah, Derek, Ivy, Alo and Lacey. Also surviving are Bob's brothers: William (Joan) Clements and Paul (Sherry) Clements. Bob is also survived by special friends Jan McCann and George and Lois Harding who we can not thank enough for all their help.Preceding Bob in death are his parents, his in-laws Harry and Marguerite Ellery and his two sisters, Joann and Joyce. Your death leaves a huge void that only good memories can fill. We miss you Dad!Private Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Rev. David L. Dunn with interment following in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin.
