Robert John Connelly

Robert passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 73 years surrounded by the ones he loved most, his children. Bob was born in Bay City on November 18, 1945 to the late Cornelius and Jacqueline (De Opsemer) Connelly. Bob worked and retired in 2012 after 25 years from Nobel-Sysco. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Bay City and enjoyed golfing, going to the casino, Toyota FJ cruisers and the mountains. He also enjoyed his CFL's and most of all he loved watching his grandchildren's sporting events.
Bob is survived by his children, Christopher Bellottie, Matt (Michele) Connelly, Sean (Kendra) Connelly and Katie Connelly and fiance Ryan Mathe; grandchildren, Bridgit, Madison, James, Peyton, Jagger, Ace, Kylie, Shaun, Dominic, Kaydence and Brooklynn; daughter-in-law, Becky Connelly and several other family and close friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Cornelius James Connelly.
